From deep in the humid and lurid swampland known as New Orleans comes a vaudeville show of a dark and lascivious nature - Freaksheaux to Geaux. A delicious gumbo of music, circus, sideshow, burlesque, and more, the Freaksheaux will bring you back to the traveling shows of yore, with a Southern Gothic twist and some modern flavor. It's no surprise that they regularly lure some of the best and the brightest in the vaudeville revival down to the Crescent City for good times and bad behavior. Come out and see what some have traveled thousands of miles to be a part of....
Kali von Wunderkammer
The lovely and dangerous Kali has stomped upon the grounds of the Raj Mahal in Mandi, India, conquered the jungles of Guariquen, Venezuela, and danced on the streets of Berlin, Germany.
As the omnipresent ringmistress of the Freaksheaux she coordinates the shows and searches the globe for the best entertainers to bring you.
The leader of the Freaksheaux band and a man of many hats, voices, and musical talents, Jak sings, screams, strums, and more. And he ain't bad to look at either....
Energetic, dramatic, and enigmatic are all words that can be used to describe his performance style.
Dante straddles both sides of the Freaksheaux experience as a member of the Freaksheaux band and as our resident magician. His style is classic vaudeville - witty, entertaining, and just a wee bit naughty.
And no, for the record, we don't have any idea where he gets all those bananas from.
Doctor Sick, the Fiddlekiller is the other half of the dynamic duo known as the Vagabandits, with his lady, GoGo McGregor. A talented musician, he was touring with the 999 Eyes before moving back to the Crescent City and joining our little dog and pony show.
Yet another of our crossover carny that plays with the band and performs as part of the stage show, we're happy to have him whenever we can get him. Especially when he's willing to endanger his health and safety for our entertainment.
Trumpeter, pianist, and stunning songstress, Hannah KB more than holds her own in the Freaksheaux band.
Chatty the Mime
Our poor, unfortunate mime, Chatty regularly faces Death on stage. Yet she returns to us and is a never-ending source of help and support for Freaksheaux to Geaux. She's a clown in mime's clothing that juggles, does hat tricks, strips, and has become an integral part of our crew.
We are truly excited and grateful for everything Chatty brings to the sheaux both on- and off-stage.
Thugsy Da Clown
Another one of our performers that straddles the performance and musical arms of Freaksheaux, Thugsy plays banjo and mandolin, sings, and (of course) clowns.
Vinsantos is a first rate visual and performance artist.
As one of our special guests for Harlequins, Harlots, and Harbingers of Doom, he wowed the audience with a his comic torch song.
Since then, we've barely had a show that he wasn't a part of, so we think it's safe to say that he's family now. Hopefully that makes him as happy to hear as it does us to say.
Juggler, magician, comedienne, sideshow artist, and burly girl, she's a one woman-vaudeville show in herself!
Armed with an overflowing well of creativity, positive energy (the only thing that makes her sad is when she drops her balls), amazing stage presence, and just the right amount of irreverence, the world is this girl's oyster! Freaksheaux hopes to make it an extra-succulent one.
Tallulah St. James
A temptress of the highest order. Miss St. James is a Louisiana native, returned home after spending time in New Mexico. While there she produced and performed in Zircus Erotique.
Samaquatic is a top notch contortionist, aerialist, and polerina with a splash of burlesque that might leave you confused (can the human body really do that?!), but certainly not dissatisfied (the human body can do that?!). Unfortunately, she's a bit of a traveler so we only get her about half the year, but whenever she's in town we're more than happy to claim her as our own. And as we work our way around the country, we hope to have her on stage with us more and more!
The Serpentine Seductress is finally a full time freak! If you haven't seen this snake charming, belly dancing, princess of the dark, in action, you're missing out. All of New Orleans is catching on though, so the opportunities are sure to abound.
This gorgeous girl keeps our stage managed and our performers sane. Without her we would be a wondering pack of angry, wild spider monkeys, coming at you with poop and fury. Lucky for us (and our audience members) we have this lovely lady to keep us all in check.
Seriously, don't you feel calmer just looking at her?

The unique set up of our show calls for rapidly responding stage managers and kittens that can keep everything moving. It just so happens that our ladies also offer up a little something impressive to look at while they're doing it. Take our girl, the Darling Rebecca, here. You could watch her clean whipped cream off the floor for hours.... And just wait until we start getting her on stage more...
Freaksheaux to Geaux's intrepid mascot, Mr. Cheez, also known internationally as Senor Queso, Monsieur Frommage, and Herr Kase. He may be the smallest member of the troupe, but certainly not the smallest personality.
